The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) celebrated UAE Flag Day with a ceremony held at its Dubai headquarters and representative offices across the country. The event began at 11 a.m. with the raising of the national flag on the ministry’s main flagpole, accompanied by the playing of the UAE national anthem, symbolising unity, pride in national identity, and loyalty to the homeland and its leadership.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention has honoured the outstanding schools that participated in the third phase of "Masar" project, an innovative initiative aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles among school students, combating obesity and enhancing health awareness. The schools were honoured in recognition of their commitment to the programme’s standards and their implementation of innovative awareness activities focusing on various health aspects related to students’ well-being. These activities have led to qualitative changes in students’ behaviours, promoted health concepts aimed at reinforcing quality of life, and strengthened a preventive approach that safeguards children’s health while fostering supportive and sustainable school environments.
