Healthcare Issues COVID-19 recoveries rise to 11809; 941 new cases identified
The UAE Government announced on Wednesday that over 43,732 additional COVID-19 tests have been conducted among UAE citizens and residents which resulted in the detection of 941 new cases, taking to 26,004 the total number of infections in the country.

Healthcare Issues MoHAP announces 38,000 additional COVID-19 tests as part of intensified screening, 873 new cases, 1,214 recoveries and three deaths
In line with the Ministry of Health and Prevention’s plans to increase the number of COVID-19 tests throughout the country for the early detection of infections, particularly among those who had contact with already infected cases, the Ministry has conducted 38,000 additional tests.

Healthcare Issues MoHAP hails family doctors’ efforts in countering COVID-19 crisis
World Family Doctor Day, which comes on the 19th of May and being held this year under the theme “Family doctors on the front line”, has an additional impetus as it coincides with the challenges posed by the outbreak of the new coronavirus (COVID-19). In this respect, the UAE has been at the forefront of the countries worldwide, thanks to the rapid response of its government system response by harnessing all logistical and human resources. Also, the efforts of the health authorities and sectors have been obvious, while family doctors teamed up with their fellows on the frontline of defense to provide the necessary health care.
