Four Ministry of Health and Prevention healthcare centres receive international healthcare re-accreditation

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) announced that four of its primary healthcare centers in Dubai has received the Renewal of JCI Accreditation for the application of standards and specifications in line with global requirements and international best practices. The Al Rashidiya, Al Muhaisnah, Hor Al Anz, and Al Ittihad medical centers received this accreditation renewal for providing high-quality healthcare services and management, patient and crew safety and upkeep of infrastructure and facilities, in accordance with internationally established standards, protocols, and results of clinical care.

Ministry of Health and Prevention announces Visiting Doctors Program for June 2018

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) has announced the details of their Visiting Doctors Program for the month of June 2018. The program is an ongoing initiative where medical experts, specialists, and professionals from various parts of the world are invited to come visit the UAE to help provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to local patients. Doctors participating in this month's program will be visiting Al Qassimi Hospital and Obaidullah Hospital to offer their medical expertise, share their knowledge and provide insight into certain medical issues. This month's list of visiting doctors includes Dr. Jean Fajader and Dr. George Tadros.

Ministry of Health and Prevention releases customer happiness achievement report

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) revealed in a report issued by the Support Services sector, the achievements of the Ministry in the field of customer happiness. Customer happiness index reached 93 per cent. The percentage of digitalization of priority services was rated at 80 per cent, while some initiatives and projects contributed to improving and developing the efficiency of the government and customer-oriented services, saving more than AED 1 million annually.

Ministry of Health and Prevention launches Naselkom initiative for advanced treatment of rheumatism and arthritis

In a first-of-its-kind initiative in the Middle East, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) in cooperation with Pfizer Gulf, has launched the ‘Naselkom’ initiative aimed at providing treatment services for rheumatology and arthritis using the telemedicine system. The initiative is part of MOHAP’s efforts in providing innovative treatment methods in line with the latest technological developments aimed at improving the delivery of healthcare. By ensuring a safer follow-up treatment plan and reducing the waiting period for patients, the new initiative contributes to the improvement of patient experience and benefit from care and specialized service, thereby ensuring patient happiness and satisfaction.
