The Ministry of Health and Prevention, MoHaP, and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, NCEMA, have announced a set of social and health guidelines pursuant to yesterday’s decision to amend the National Disinfection Programme.

The UAE has conducted over 32,000 additional COVID-19 tests among UAE citizens and residents over the past few days in line with the Ministry of Health and Prevention's plans to intensify virus screening in order to contain the spread of COVID-19.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention has conducted over 29,000 additional COVID-19 tests among citizens and residents, resulting in the detection of 518 new cases among various nationalities. The total number of cases in the UAE has now reached 8,756.

The UAE Government announced that an additional 103 patients had recovered from the coronavirus after receiving the necessary medical care, raising the total number of recoveries to 1,546.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, stated that the UAE is standing together in one trench with its citizens and residents against the current challenges.
