The WHO Regional Subcommittee on Polio Eradication and Outbreaks has thanked His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for his continuous efforts to achieve a Polio-free world.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has discussed with the Sierra Leone counterpart ways of enhancing cooperation in the health care sector, exchanging experiences in the training field, strengthening cooperation in public health.

The International Day of Human Fraternity, which is celebrated on February 4 of every year, reflects the global confidence in the leading role played by the UAE in promoting the values of tolerance, coexistence and respect for others’ cultures and religions, said HE Dr. Mohammad Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Health Services (EHS).
