UAE represented by Ministry of Health & Prevention wins best Limitless Business Intelligence Dashboard for second consecutive year
Health and Care / Published in 18 Monday, September, 2017
The UAE continues its journey of excellence with confidence in its ability to receive international awards across a host of prestigious platforms, at the forefront of the international community. The UAE, represented by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), has won the award for the best Limitless Business Intelligence Dashboard for the second year in a row during its participation in the 2017 Global Business Intelligence Symposium, surpassing submissions from competing countries from all over the world. The symposium was organized by Infosol, a leading provider of control panel software from California, USA. This is the first time that a health institution has won the prestigious award for two consecutive years. The Ministry’s hospital sector won the award for ‘Most Valuable Dashboard’ at the symposium last year.
Dr. Yousif Al Serkal, Assistant Undersecretary for the Ministry’s Hospitals Sector, said: "We are proud that the Ministry has received this prestigious award in recognition of its clinical performance management system (PaCE), which enhances the Ministry’s ability to provide, understand and process health care data and come up with solutions efficiently. We believe in the principle of data utilization and not just its creation, prioritizing information management over information technology, without being limited to the development of techniques. We aim to translate abstract data into information, analyze the information, and then come up with efficient solutions."
Dr. Al Serkal noted that the system reflects the Ministry’s efforts to integrate healthcare with a greater dependence on mobile devices, while working on raising awareness about patient data according to a clear vision. He also pointed out that current healthcare systems must adhere to future standards, in addition to enriching the experiences of customers and enhancing the competitiveness of the UAE in the international healthcare sector.
