The UAE is at the forefront of providing innovative services designed to exceed customer expectations, in addition to offering pioneering, result-oriented, and sustainable methods to foster a culture of innovation and create mechanisms for a more prosperous future. In this context, the Ministry of Health and Prevention has launched a new health examination service for expatriates in Dubai who are applying residence visa for their wives or foreign household staff.  The service, which is available in three health centers in Dubai, will fast-track the health examination process required for the issuance of residence visa, thus bringing happiness to the public.

The identified primary healthcare centers in Hor Al Anz, Al Muhaisna, and Al Itihad are equipped with the needed modern equipment, including blood and radiation testing devices and laboratory tools that passed the highest quality standards. Their staff also underwent training regarding procedures being followed at the Preventive Medicine Center of the Dubai Medical District.
H.E. Dr. Hussein Abdel-Rahman Rand, Assistant Undersecretary for Health Clinics and Centers, said that the initiative is part of the Ministry’s strategy to provide comprehensive and integrated healthcare in innovative and sustainable ways for disease prevention. The new service targets expatriates wishing to obtain medical certificates for their wives or household staff required for their residence visa. The medical clinics are also closer to their homes and are not crowded as other health facilities issuing the certificates in the hope of bringing happiness to all community members and in alignment with the Ministry’s commitment to the country’s sustainable development.
